Professor Dr. Sutisa Thanoi
On behalf of the organizing committee, I am very delighted to welcome all the distinguished guests, participants and students to the Faculty of Medical Science, Naresuan University, Phitsanulok, Thailand, to participate in the IBRO-APRC Associate School on Neuroscience and Brain Disease during the 6th to 11th June 2023 and the 26th Thai Neuroscience Society Conference (TNS26) on the 9th June 2023.
I would like to express my appreciation to IBRO-APRC (Asia Pacific Regional Committee) for funding the IBRO-APRC Associate School on Neuroscience and Brain Disease: From Translation to Intervention. The purposes of the school are to provide a platform for medical and postgraduate students from the field of neuroscience to expand their knowledge of both basic and clinical neurosciences and identify how this knowledge may translate into a better understanding of, and treatment for, brain diseases. I do hope that the students will be better equipped to develop their research in the field of neuroscience.
The school is held in conjunction with the annual conference of the Thai Neuroscience Society. The TNS26 conference provides a unique opportunity for all researchers from all over Thailand and other countries around the world to keep abreast of the latest information, to foster the sharing of knowledge in the field of neuroscience.
I would like to extend my sincere respect to the distinguished speakers for contributing their excellent research works to the IBRO-APRC Associate School 2023 and TNS26 conference. I strongly ensure that the IBRO-APRC Associate School 2023 and TNS26 conference will result in fruitful discussions and information exchanges on neuroscience research. Additionally, it will provide an opportunity for researchers to establish collaborations which will outcome in the greatest benefit to society as a whole.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to all organizing and scientific committees for their outstanding efforts in preparing this event.
I would also like to acknowledge the TNS, Professor Prasop Ratanakorn Foundation, Endowment Fund for Prasop Ratanakorn's CHAIR PROFESSOR, Centre of Excellence in Medical Biotechnology, Center of Excellence in Fungal Research, Graduate School, Faculty of Medical Science, Naresuan University for their support to organize the school and the conference.
I additionally acknowledge the Reinventing University Program 2023, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), Thailand for the support in the Visiting Professor Project.
Once more, I warmly welcome you all to Naresuan University located in the Phitsanulok province in lower northern Thailand which has the historical memory as the birthplace of King Naresuan the Great.

TNS26 Invitation
On behalf of the organizing committee, we are delighted to invite you to participate at the 26th Thai Neuroscience Society (TNS26) International Conference, with the theme “Neuroscience and Brain Disease: from Translation to Intervention”. The TNS26 conference organized by the Thai Neuroscience Society (TNS) and Naresuan University will be held on 9 June 2023 at the Faculty of Medical Science, Naresuan University, Phitsanulok, Thailand. The conference is arranged in conjunction with the IBRO-APRC Associate School of Neuroscience 2023 to be held on 6-11 June 2023, which is supported by the International Brain Research Organization Asia Pacific Regional Committee (IBRO-APRC).
The objective of the conference is to encourage and support academic researchers and students in neuroscience and other related fields to exchange research knowledge and experiences. We are honoured to have distinguished researchers from several countries including the UK, Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia as well as Thailand coming to deliver their excellent research works at the TNS26 Conference. The conference will be organized as a hybrid model of onsite and online meetings. We aim to attract 100 delegates for joining the onsite meeting and another 100 delegates to attend online. We encourage the participants who would like to present their research works to participate in the conference onsite which will provide a good opportunity to exchange research experience and ideas with the distinguished researchers.
We sincerely hope that you will be able to participate in the TNS26 conference and look forward to welcoming you.
